Happy Throwback Thursday! Anyone remember

Happy Throwback Thursday!

Anyone remember Fischer’s Pool? Cottages and all?

Back in August of 1977, a fire destroyed a pavilion, including the club membership office, a kitchen and a refreshment stand. Chief Butch Clemens reported that he could see the “glow in the sky” as he and approximately 30 other firefighters from 76 responded. Worcester Volunteer Fire Department arrived moments later and began drafting from the pool to help in fighting the blaze.
