Today, Towamencin VFC along with

Today, Towamencin VFC along with West End Fire Rescue of Quakertown, Milford Twp. Fire Co., and Tylersport Fire Co. and Grandview Paramedics responded to an Accident involving a tractor trailer and a box truck with heavy entrapment on the Northeast Extension of the PA Turnpike Companies extricated one victim who was flown to the hospital by a JeffStat Helicopter.

Plan X was generated shutting down the Northbound lanes of the Northeast Extension.

Good work by all emergency personnel!

House fire on Rosedale Court

On Sunday January 3 at 126 PM Towamencin VFC was alerted to a house fire on Rosedale Court in the Morgandale Development. The homeowner had heard loud noises in her home then saw fire and smoke on the first floor. She made an immediate 9-1-1 call and evacuated the home. 

Bustard Road Bridge

The Bustard Road Bridge, spanning the Pa Turnpike, was reopened this week, on Tuesday June 30th.  The Towamencin Volunteer Fire Company would like to thank our neighboring companies and departments for their invaluable assistance during the closure so that we could ensure a prompt and efficient response to emergencies.
